The Ingredients of Robin, Part 4: Integrations

It’s great when things work well. It’s even better when things work well with other things. When it comes to integrations, Robin hooks into a ton of stuff that you already use, or might explore using in the future to help you better manage your conference rooms, and office.

In addition to our API, you can extend Robin into Slack, Meridian and your existing calendars to provide a complete booking and room management solution.

Ask Slack about Rooms

We use Slack at Robin for coordinating everything from office lunch votes to server reboots. Our integration with Slack gives you a direct connection to your office in Robin via chat message in Slack. Today, you can use it to look up office availability, get the day’s itinerary, or just grab a quick link to an upcoming event. Here’s an example of what our integration looks like:

Report a Problem from the Room Display

Available on the room display, you can report an issue from the room as it happens. Maybe the Apple TV is broken or the temperature is up a little to high in the conference room you’re in. You can connect these alerts with Slack and email to let IT, facilities, or office management know when things happen as soon as they do.


Import Spaces from Meridian

If you are an Aruba Meridian customer, you can enable indoor wayfinding through Robin’s Meridian integration. If you remember the last time you got lost on the way to your meeting, this could definitely be useful in your office.
