And when you want to see the health and performance of each device, head on over to Analytics > Vitals from the web dashboard. You'll be able to see when displays are reporting, or when they have gone offline.

Automatic updates to your tablets

Lots of times, updating software can be a pain. We realize that other solutions make you manually do this yourself, but with Robin, your tablets automatically update whenever we make changes to the core product. Most of the time, we'll be able to automatically push updates directly to your room displays. These include bug fixes, enhancements to the interface, new settings, etc that don't interact with your device's native settings.  When the Rooms app receives an update, the interface will briefly flash and then reload, as seen in the video clip below. So as to not disrupt your day, updates will occur on the following schedule:

  • Scheduled deployments: Several times a week, non-urgent updates will go out to all devices at 7pm in your local timezone.

  • Manual deployments: In the event of a widespread bug, the patch will go out as soon as it's available.

Get notified of system status changes

We keep an updated status page with any service interruptions reported here: http://status.robinpowered.com/

In the rare event that your calendars stop syncing, this is generally the first place you should check. You can also sign up for email or text notifications in the top right "Subscribe' area. If you're the administrator for your office, this is a helpful way to know when things might be off in advance.
