When it comes to hybrid work communication is key. Making sure employees are on the same page, whether they’re working from home, a coffee shop, or in the office is a really important part of successfully transitioning to and operating a hybrid workplace.

Did you know that organizations using Robin’s announcements feature had a 20% higher growth rate for desk booking?

Employees are reluctant to work from the office without a compelling reason to do so. To help streamline office wide communication, we recently launched a new feature: Workplace Announcements. This tool can be used to share updates and relevant information with your entire team.

With the help of announcements, you can improve communication and collaboration, and some of our customers are already putting it to the test.

Over the past few weeks we’ve seen a bunch of different ways companies are using workplace announcements to unite their teams, and we’ve been inspired.

Here’s a list of some creative ways companies have been using announcements to communicate with their employees:

1. Grand Re-openings

As we’ve mentioned before, the office is back! And companies are letting their employees know with fun, exciting messages.

Encouraging teams to visit the office and letting them know how excited you are to move things forward is a great way to utilize Robin’s announcement feature. We love to see teams come back together in person, and we’re happy to be a part of that transition.

2. Facility Updates

Another way announcements are being used is to share facility updates, like construction or renovations. This is a great way to make sure people heading into the office know what to expect each day, so they can prepare for upcoming changes.

Efficiently let teams know about a floor closure or a change to office layout, and eliminate another all-staff email.

3. Office Theme Days

With the office up and running again, workplace experience teams can incorporate a little more fun into the work day. We’ve seen exciting announcements for theme days and events like March Madness Spirit Day or Bring Your Pup to Work Fridays!

These announcements are a great way to make your entire office feel included. Let all of your hybrid employees know about office wide activities, so they can dress up and  celebrate with coworkers.

We love seeing the office camaraderie and hope to see a lot more in the future!

4. Policy & Process Implementation

Transitioning to hybrid work involves a lot of implementation and updates to office policies. Some of our customers are using announcements to provide clear and concise communication about these changes to their teams.

Keep your employees informed by sharing implementation timelines or any major updates in the app. You can also use this as a way to share tips on booking desks or scheduling conference rooms to help employees feel more comfortable with the technology.

Make sure everyone’s on the same page, so you can move forward together.

Communication is Key

Workplace announcements can be used in so many different ways, and our customers are proving that. We know it can be hard to bring people together, which is why we’ve added this feature to our app.

Whether it’s rallying staff for a team happy hour or sharing new office guidelines, announcements are an easy way to provide support and guidance to your team.

However you decide to use workplace announcements, we hope it helps you improve communication and build a stronger company culture.
